The Alberta Sikh History Project is an initiative by Dr. Michael Hawley at Mount Royal University, Calgary, Canada.

Records the patterns of Sikh migration and settlement in Alberta,
Registers Sikh religious and cultural expressions over time,
Locates Sikhs’ historical and ongoing connections with Punjab and other spaces in the global Sikh diaspora,
Discloses how Sikhs have been represented in the media, politics, and law in Alberta,
Preserves the oral histories of Sikhs in the province.
