Through the last issue, we have conveyed to our readers about the formation of Canadian-Indian Congress and this week, we want to reveal that Bhai Harnam Singh from Calgary has, through a letter, conveyed to us that when funds collection starts for Mother India, he pledges to donate $500/-.We are printing on this page Bhai (Harnam Singh) Sahib’s photo and reproducing the original words of his own hand written letter along with his signatures. Besides, Bhai (Harnam Singh) Sahib further writes that in case group of people offers to undertake some other service to the country his name may be noted at the top. We are pleased to read about such a zeal and love and similarly all brothers have supported the common national organisation of All Canadian Indian Congress; and whatever service the Congress Committee takes up, the Canadian residents’ brothers shall accept it.
These days because of shortage of work there are many brothers who feel that they would have made more fortunes had they arrived in this country earlier and settled on lands.
